Dona Beatriz upholds the historical teachings of Kimpa Vita, a 17th-century Congolese prophetess and leader who sought to unify the Kingdom of Congo. Inspired by these teachings, she creates clones of herself, ready to form an army within the kitchen drawers of her home in Belo Horizonte, a city marked by both crisis and persistence.
